What Makes Erhai Lake Special
Erhai Lake sits at 1,972m adjacent to Dali Old Town. 42 kilometers long, 250 square kilometers — one of China's largest and cleanest freshwater lakes.
Cycling the Lake
130km complete circuit. Electric bikes: 60-100 RMB daily. The eastern shore between Shuanglang and Wase has the best scenery.
Boat Tours
3-4 hour tours visiting Nanzhao Fengqing Island, Putuo Island, and Xiaoputuo. 140-180 RMB per person.

- Strong UV at 2,000m — sunscreen essential
- Swimming prohibited (protected water source)
